Bee Strong was created by a cancer survivor to make sure no one faces cancer alone, providing free support, education, and resources to our community.
How do we work?
Volunteer
Partnering with Local Communities
Our volunteers help at events, support community outreach, and assist people in accessing resources. Your time and energy help us bring free screenings, education, and support to those who need it most. We’d love to have you join us. Contact us to get involved with BEE Strong and learn how you can help.
Our events bring the community together through free health fairs, screenings, and educational workshops. They provide a welcoming space to learn, connect, and access resources that support prevention, early detection, and overall well-being. Join us and be part of something meaningful.
We work by bringing free cancer screenings, education, and support directly to the community through local events and partnerships. Our team connects people with trusted resources, guides them through the process, and makes getting help simple and accessible. Everything we do is focused on supporting those who need it most.
Events
We partner with local communities to bring free screenings, education, and support where they’re needed most. By working with schools, clinics, and community organizations, we make resources easier to access and create stronger support networks. Together, we can improve health and lives in our community.
Our Mission
Rosie and Halle Peralta founded Bee Strong Cancer Foundation to bring cancer
awareness and prevention into low-income/underserved communities, as well as
support by acknowledging the journey of detection and understanding the underlying
trauma of recovery.
Our purpose is to provide education such as nutrition/wellness workshops and
resources. We are dedicated to promoting early detection, Acting with integrity and
transparency in all of our interactions, ensuring that our work always prioritizes the
well-being of those we serve.
This Non-profit is inclusive and welcomes all genders, races and ethnicities. We serve
communities who are uninsured, low-income and who traditionally wouldn't have access
to healthcare. In serving these communities we want to break financial and generational
barriers that prevent their access to resources
Some initiatives we have taken are health fairs in which we engage with patients, families and friends; These events establish connections with wellness
practitioners and other non-profits. Hosting workshops allows us to have one on one
classes to implement important life changes such as nutrition like cooking classes and
cancer awareness by inviting doctors to teach early signs or symptoms. We provide
these options because they foster outlets that can change outlooks on life, activities like
art, mental health resources and physical activities like muay thai.
We invite you to join us in making a difference by Supporting Bee Strong Cancer
Foundation. Create lasting change and transform lives whether through donations that
fund workshops and classes, volunteering for events or spreading awareness through
your communities Every contribution brings us closer to the mission.
